This is how my hair looked on Saturday & Sunday. My sis won tickets for Demi Lovato. It was actually chilly here (read: below 80 degrees) so my hair didn’t get any bigger from the weather. I ended up liking the final look. I wore high ponytails to stretch my curls and only took it out right before the concert.

Demi was awesome, but her set was so short. She only sang a handful of her songs and covered Rhianna’s Stay. I had a lot of fun. 🙂

  1. I love the final look! Beautiful It really reminds me of Curlformers. I found a knock-off version on ebay – style 3, 4 packs for under $20. “Women Girls Large Lengthened Magic Leverag Circle Hair Styling Roller Curler”

    1. Thanks! 🙂 My sister has the knockoff curlformers and I used hers before. I think she had around 40 and it wasn’t enough to do my hair. If I had too large of a section, my hair got caught in it. The final result with the ‘curlformers’ poofed out and tangled within about 30 minutes and they were very uncomfortable to have in. I actually prefer this set. It was cheaper. I have enough rollers (with 2 packs) to do my whole head. The results were sleeker too– both on dry hair with no holding product and on this set with wrapping lotion. The major difference is that the curl diameter with these is quite small compared to the ‘curlformers.’

      1. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I can get multiple uses out of these. I can use them to curl the ends of braids or twists. Also, if I twist the hair around before wrapping it on the roller, I get a springy curl similar to a bantu knot out. I did a couple curls that way and I liked the results.
