Tresemme Naturals Aloe and Avocado is a silicone free rinse out conditioner. I purchased this with my own money. I was about $4-5 for 25fl oz.
First Impression:
I know this is inexpensive, but I still think it should be cheaper…I’m stingy, I know. I also think they should sell much larger sizes. The smell is okay, nothing to brag about and I don’t hate it.
Performance:
I was thoroughly impressed with this product. My expectations were very low. I didn’t think a drug store brand without silicones could do a good job conditioning my hair and providing enough slip to detangle. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I ran through this bottle in about 2-3 weeks. This silicone free conditioner is comparable to Aussie Moist, so if you love those, you should love this. I’ve also seen it compared to Trader Joe’s conditioner. I moved back to Florida recently so I no longer have a Trader Joe’s to shop at.
Pros:
The conditioner is very moisturizing. My hair feels extremely soft after using this. I can use it to detangle my hair and it has a ton of slip. Best of all, it has good ingredients and is silicone free so I can avoid drying sulfate shampoos.
Cons:
Takes a lot of product to condition the hair. Mixing it with water beforehand helps. I used up my bottle within a couple weeks…other conditioners like Aussie Moist come in smaller bottles, yet it took months to finish. It would be nice if this came with a pump in a gallon bottle.
Verdict:
If I can find a good sale, I will stock up on this. This is the perfect conditioner for cowashing. I want to always have a bottle in my shower. Definite rebuy!
