Here’s the final update on the take down of my braids. This was my 8th week since I completed braiding my hair. I started braiding the last week of May. Technically, my hair was almost all undone by the end of this week. These pictures are from July 26th.

Overall, it was a great 8-9 weeks. My hair was a bit dry towards the end so I added a lot of conditioner to my hair every night during the week it took me to take these out.

At most I got about an inch of new growth. This area left was one of the slower growing areas and when measured it’s less than an inch. As you can see, I had no matting, tangling, or product buildup. After undoing a bunch of braids, I two strand twisted the hair to keep it out  of the way.
