  1. Your mini braids are lovely, and your hair seems to be thriving on it, your hair regimen seems pretty simple too, I’ve learnt that hair regimens need’nt be so complicated. I only do box braids too, my hair really likes them, I get it done by a hair dresser though, I have tried to do them myself but get tired before o get done with back, my hair isn’t doing as well as it should due to the fact that I use heat to blow dry the hair before starting and I discovered I loose a lot of hairs that way. I decided to stop and start doing my hair myself. After stumbling accross you site I’m a definately inspired to start doing my hair myself.

    1. Thanks for your comment! You have been entered into the giveaway contest. Definitely give yourself a few days to complete your braids and air dry them over night. It can take a while to get the hang of braiding the back of your head but it gets easier over time. 🙂

  3. Love this! Saw your pic on Hairlista and thought it was too cute. I’m transitioning and cant wait to try this method when my natural hair gets long enough. It looks like a good way to retain length. I bet it would be cute to do a flexi rod set on them. Hhj 🙂

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment! You have been entered into the contest. HHJ to you as well! Mini braids are the best retaintion method for me. 🙂

  4. I saw your hair on BHM and I actually just got finished reading all of your posts just now. I used to do mini braids a couple years ago within my first year natural, and since my hair has gotten SO much longer, I just never had the patience to put them in and take them down but now I want to try them just ONE more time!! You have such beautiful hair. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go put in a set of mini braids now… =/ lol

  5. Hi! I was searching around on the internet on how to curl mini braids on natural hair and i happened to stumble upon on your site. I love how you give lots of information on mini braids and it encourages me to continue on with my decision. I recently put in mini braids in my hair because I really have a bad habit with messing with my hair and as a result my hair was breaking off dramatically. i love the way my hair looks and looking at your site, it gives me new ideas with different styles for my hair! Thanks so much! my email is chin.erondu@yahoo.com

    1. I’m glad I could provide you with a few more options! come back and check the site often. I’ll have a tutorial on curling sometime next month. Thanks for your comment, you have been added to the giveway. 🙂
