It’s been about a week since I completed this set of mini braids. I’ll add weekly updates to show how they are holding up. I haven’t worked out like I should…I ran once during the week. I cowashed once with Burt’s Bees Volumizing conditioner (using as if it were shampoo). I followed with Giovanni NutraFix conditioner, which I left on for a few minutes before rinsing. After that cowash, I used Giovanni Direct Leave-In as a moisturizer and sealed my ends with a quarter size amount of castor oil. I also rubbed a little castor oil on my scalp.
I only conwashed and moisturized one time, but my hair still feels soft. When I get back to daily workouts, I’ll cowash more often. I wore my hair in a top knot bun everyday this week (that’s why the braids in my bangs are sticking up like antenna, lol).

I saw you post about your mini braids on LHCF! I LOVE this style! I unfortunately do not have the patience to do them myself, lol.
How long does your hair usually take you? And how long do you keep them in? And what’s the take down like?
(I’m sure you addressed these questions before, so I’ll get to reading…)
Keep up the good work!
Thank you. 🙂 I’ve answered some of those in the FAQs here: http://theminibraidmethod.blogspot.com/p/frequently-asked-questions.html
I don’t count the hours to put in or take out the braids. I work a section at a time over a week to put them in and it doesn’t feel like long at all. I take 2 days to undo them. I keep them in for at least 4 weeks but usually longer.
