  1. Does it really works. I get so much breakage on my wash days . I am getting frustrated. Are you going to participate in their challeng

    1. Yes, Hairfinity works well for me. It’s increased my growth rate. You can see all my posts on Hairfinity here- http://minibraidmethod.com/category/hairfinity-2/
I haven’t decided if I’ll do the challenge. The prize is a spa day and other things that don’t particularly interest me…lol. But I will continue the vitamins. I’m on my 3rd bottle and will purchase more after my 4th bottle is up. 🙂

I don’t think any vitamin will make a difference for issues with breakage. Vitamins will only effect newly growing hair, not what’s already on your head.

I used to deal with a lot of breakage on wash day. I’ve mostly solved my issues by using protein with every wash. Hair that’s breaking does not have the right moisture/protein balance. My hair needed more protein for strength. I also stopped detangling my hair with combs or brushes. For around 2 years now, I’ve only finger detangled. It’s a lot gentler on the hair and will cause far less mechanical damage than any comb or brush. It’s a difficult learning curve because we tend to obsess about getting every knot, tangle, snag, and group of hair detangled…but curly hair is meant to be clumped together. The less we disturb it, the better.

Naturals also tend to think their hair will loc, if it’s not detangled to the point where we can run a comb or brush from root to tip. That’s not true. It takes months, sometimes years, for even the kinkiest of textures to form mature locs…and that’s without using conditioners.

Access your hair’s condition and figure out what it is missing. You most likely need more protein or possibly more moisture in your hair routine. I think finger detangling is an excellent option for any hair type.
