I started taking Hairfinity (this year) at the end of August. You can see my post about it here. It’s been 2 months, so I thought I’d write a short update. FYI- this isn’t really hair related. I have not been keeping track of hair growth. I want to wait until the next time I flat iron (which will be after I finish the 2nd bottle) to post about hair length. You can see my latest straight hair pics in this post.

I was taking about 1 Hairfinity pill a day along with a multivitamin. I didn’t want to overdo it on vitamins, especially since my diet is pretty healthy and mostly consists of clean whole foods that should provide everything the body needs. I feel comfortable now going up to the suggested dose of 2 Hairfinity pills a day but honestly, sometimes I just alternate days and take a multivitamin instead so it evened out anyway.

As far as results/effects of the vitamins so far- my skin was looking great prior to an allergic reaction to a product that I’m currently dealing with. My cheeks are very red and irritated but I know that it has nothing to do with anything internal. My skin otherwise is doing well. I don’t have any acne caused by diet/vitamins…as usual I do not consume dairy at all. The hormones in dairy can trigger acne for me. My nails are growing in very strong. I always grow them out until a few of them break, then I cut them all down and start again. I don’t want to jinx it, lol, but all of my nails on both hands are pretty long. They are at the point now where I usually break a few. I can still use my phone without issues so I know I have a few more weeks before I clip them all off. I have also gone back to using a top coat with plastic in it. Usually I stick to the Hard As Wraps with lycra, but this time around I’m using the version with acrylic. I get asked what the secret for long nails is and that’s it- a good diet and a plastic top coat. I also spoke about some issues with bruised toenails from wearing new shoes to Disney. My toenails are growing in faster than they were before I started Hairfinity.

I am on the 2nd bottle now. I’ll repurchase sometime in November. My hair goal is to get to waist length by my 5th year since my last relaxer- March 2014. I have about 2 more inches to go. Like I mentioned before, I’ll do a full update on my hair after I finish this bottle…that should be at the end of November. I’m very pleased so far with the results I’ve noticed in my hair, skin, and nails.
