I was so busy with the book yesterday that I didn’t get a chance to post this. This update is for June 14. The next one will be on June 21st.

I can’t believe it’s been two weeks already. It seems like only a few days. My braids are holding up well. The don’t seem fuzzy or frizzy at all. I still haven’t moisturized or sealed often (I’m terrible with keeping up with this) but luckily The Mini Braid Method allows me to be lazy with my hair without any consequences.

I cowashed once with Burt’s Bees Volumizing Pomegranate Conditioner. I moisturized with Giovanni Direct Leave-In and sealed with castor oil. I moisturized again a few days later with Giovanni and sealed with Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Mask. So far so good- my braids feel great. I have just under 1/4″ of new growth at the base of my braids.

ETA: I forgot to add this pic of my growth from the back of my head…it usually grows faster than my crown:
